“Brexit” seminar British Chamber of Commerce
On 19 September 2016, a seminar “Brexit.. and what next” was held with the participation of representatives of leading Czech and British companies and investors.
The discussion was moderated by Petr Karel from London Market (also Vice-Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce). The panel also included H.E. Jane Thompson, Ambassador of the United Kingdom, and representatives from the London office of PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
The subject of the discussion included:
- The withdrawal process and the application of Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty
- The likely new EU-UK cooperation regime
- The future of the EU single market
